Sex and Relationships - Let's Talk About It

At time this I am only accepting initial consults and virtual appointments, and will begin having in-person session availability on May 5th. Please reach out to me if you are interested in booking one of these services. 

We live in a world that tends to be pretty uncomfortable talking about sex; particularly elements of sex and sexuality that fall outside the dominant narratives of sexuality, gender and relationships. My passion lies in exploring these topics, including:

• Kink and BDSM
• Sexual identity, gender identity, erotic identity and relational identity
• Your relationship to your body, body-image and self-esteem 
• Sexual confidence 
• Sex Work 

There are so many facets to sex and sexuality, and my commitment is to create a space that is secure, playful and free of judgement.

I approach relationship therapy believing there is no "right" way to be in partnership. Supporting you and your partner(s) to develop communication tools, deepen emotional understanding and explore your boundaries are key components of my approach. I am particularly passionate about supporting folks who are interested in exploring, or are already involved in, non-monogamous and polyamorous relationship structures. This includes:

• Identifying patterns in your relationship
• Starting a conversation about opening your relationship
• Creating a relationship agreement
• Exploring different relationship structures and relational identities 
• Developing and deepening communication strategies and emotional connection 
• Establishing and negotiating boundaries
• Navigating infidelity 

I do not exclusively work with folks engaged in non-monogamous relationships, and welcome partnerships of all kinds looking for support in navigating challenges.

While sex and relationship therapy are my primary focus, I also have experience supporting folks who are:

• First Responders 
• Navigating anxiety 
• Family members or loved ones of those with serious mental illness 
• Experiencing burnout and/or direct and vicarious injury/trauma for frontline healthcare

I have additional training in:

• General Psychiatric Management for Borderline Personality Disorder
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
• Occupational Awareness for First Responders

50 minute individual session - $150

80 minute extended individual session - $160

50 minute partner session - $160

80 minute extended partner session - $170

All initial consults are by phone, and subsequent sessions are delivered either in person at the office location listed or virtually. If you would like to bring more than one partner to session please connect with me to discuss options! Additionally, I have limited sliding scale spaces available. Please indicate if you are in need of this and we can discuss options.  

I am able to direct bill to certain insurance companies. Please reach out to see if this may be applicable to you. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

All appointments must be cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be charged the full session fee. I do understand sometimes things happen that are outside our control, and cancellation fees may be waived in unforeseen or extenuating circumstances.
